Cambodia exported an equivalent amount of about US$6.23 billion � an increase of 15 percent � under the awarded Generalised System of Preferences (GSP) for the first six months of 2018.
The figure was shared by Commerce Secretary of State H.E. Ork Boung when presiding over a certificate handover ceremony to his officials at the ministry office here in Phnom Penh.
He continued that the destinations of the exports include the European Union, United States of America, Canada, Japan, China and ASEAN.
Cambodia's exported products are textiles, footwear, rubber, milled rice, cassava and beyond.
According to the record from the Ministry of Commerce, Cambodian exports in 2017 under GSP was worth US$11.15 billion � about 18 percent higher than 2016.
