APSARA National Authority and a bunch of 54 private institutions operating their tourism services in Angkor resort have gathered to discuss and resolve emerging problems.
The meeting took place yesterday in Siem Reap province under the chairmanship of the authority's president H.E. Ms. Phoeurng Sackona, Minister of Culture and Fine Arts.
The meeting discussed and resolved some problems affecting tourism in the province, including waste management, sound pollution, road infrastructure, diversion of tourist destinations, and beyond.
For the problems beyond her scope of responsibility, H.E. Ms. Phoeurng Sackona will bring them to concerned ministries and institutions for solutions.
She also encouraged regular practice of such meeting to ensure effective and timely solution to emerging problems affecting especially Cambodia's reputation and tourism.
