Angola will have soon 25 more hotels of different categories, bringing to 1965 the number of the rooms.
The Secretary of State for Hotel, Paulino Baptista, announced this Thursday in Lisbon Portugal.
Paulino Baptista was speaking at the inauguration of the Skyna Lisboa Hotel of the Angolan group Skina Hotels.
Paulino Baptista, who would not mention the precise timeframe, said that the units will be inaugurated under the celebrations of the 40th anniversary of the country’s national independence.
Among the new hotels, the Secretary of State highlighted the Intercontinental Hotel with 390 rooms, based in Luanda; Palanca Hotel
with 146 rooms ( Malanje).
The official also referred to more than 20 units of “AAA” company in five provinces of the country.
According to him, the hotel and tourism is in its development rate as the sector comprises a structured hotel network of 185 units.
Highlight went also to tourist development hubs of Futungo-Mussulo, Cabo Ledo, Kalandula, as well as that of Okavango, like the Kaza-Okavango Zambeze project, integrated by Angola, Botswana, Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
