Under a total of 250 firms, some 3,500 Japanese business people have been investing in Cambodia to date.
The figure was shared by visiting State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan H.E. Nakane Kazuyuki during a meeting with H.E. Prak Sokhonn, Senior Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation here in Phnom Penh.
H.E. Nakane Kazuyuki spoke highly of rapid economic growth of Cambodia benefiting the two countries, according to what the Foreign Ministry's Spokesperson H.E. Chum Sounry told reporters after the meeting yesterday.
Both sidesbexchanged views about ongoing cooperation under the frameworks of Mekong-Japan cooperation and ASEAN-Japan cooperation, as well as the formulation of joint activity to cheer the 65th anniversary of Cambodia-Japan diplomatic relations.
