The 11th Indonesian Trade and Tourism Promotion 2017 kicked off yesterday under the presidency of Cambodian Minister of Commerce H.E. Pan Sorasak.
This three-day event took place at Koh Pich Convention and Exhibition Centre, Phnom Penh with many visitors.
H.E. Pitono Purnomo, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Cambodia, said the annual event which began in 2006 will further boost the bilateral trade and tourism relations between the two countries.
For the current event, this gathering will showcase many Indonesian products as well as promoting Indonesia's tourism, he underlined.
For his part, H.E. Pan Sorasak outlined the significance of trade and economic relations between Cambodia and Indonesia.
H.E. Minister took this opportunity to encourage Cambodia's small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to continue to develop themselves so that they can take part in similar events overseas as such events are very important in accessing and diversifying markets for Cambodian products.
The development of SMEs will contribute to the inclusive growth of the Cambodian people as SMEs are the forces and catalysts for greater economic growth, stressed H.E. Pan Sorasak.
