The Senate President calls on his Cambodian fellows to rid themselves of all the misfortunes and sorrows of the past year and start the new year with renewed determination and merit. The Senate President, Samdech Akka Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, who is also President of the Supreme Privy Council to His Majesty the King, made the call in his recent public message to cheer the Khmer Traditional New Year starting today. Foremost, he humbly conveyed his best wishes to His Majesty King Norodom Sihamoni and Her Majesty Queen-Mother Norodom Monineath Sihanouk so that their subjects can continue to enjoy themselves under their oversight. Under their guardianship, he continued, the 7th-mandate government is leading Cambodia with solid wisdom, unwavering courage, and high responsibility to further foster growth and national aspirations.
