KPJ HEALTHCARE CELEBRATES AIDILFITRI WITH TRIBUTE TO FRONTLINERS, PATIENTS

KUALA LUMPUR, KPJ Healthcare Berhad (KPJ Healthcare) celebrated Aidilfitri today by embracing its 'Care For Life' spirit by honouring its dedicated staff, resilient patients, and all frontline workers who continue to serve selflessly during this festive season through the 'Jalinan Kasih' community programme. The programme was recently launched by KPJ Healthcare, commencing with outreach during Ramadan to aid the homeless in Chow Kit, Kuala Lumpur, followed by this compassionate initiative on the first day of Syawal. KPJ Healthcare's president and managing director Chin Keat Chyuan personally visited patients and frontline workers at KPJ Damansara Specialist Hospital ("DSH"), Damansara Specialist Hospital 2 ("DSH2"), the Damansara Utama fire and rescue station, as well at the Damansara Utama police station, expressing gratitude to those on duty. Special visits were also made to the police station and fire station at Taman Tun Dr Ismail. 'The dedication and sacrifices of our frontliners over the years have been truly inspiring. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, our bond with fellow frontliners grew stronger, driven by shared purpose and resilience. 'As we move forward, we aim to deepen these relationships, united in our commitment to serving our country,' he said in a statement. He also said that the Jalinan Kasih initiative exemplifies KPJ Healthcare's deep-rooted ethos of providing Care For Life, 'as we stand by our communities with compassion and support'. "With a significant presence within a 10-kilometre radius at DSH and DSH2, both members of the Mayo Clinic Care Network ('MCCN'), KPJ Healthcare continues its mission of elevating patient-centric care whilst ensuring access to world-class, quality healthcare for residents in the area," he said. Recognizing the integral role of nutrition in holistic patient care, KPJ Healthcare's subsidiary, Total Meal Solution ("TMS"), offers delicious, nutritious, and sustainable meals for individuals at home or in care. Each festive season, TMS curates special meals for hospitals and this Aidilfitri, patients will relish wholesome traditional delicacies such as rendang, nasi impit, and other Raya dishes. Chin said KPJ Healthcare's dedication to providing excellent quality meals reflects its commitment to comprehensive and compassionate healthcare, prioritising every aspect of the patient experience for their overall well-being and comfort.
