GGGI Opens New Office in the Ministry of Environment

The Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) opens its new office in Cambodia's Ministry of Environment. The inauguration ceremony of the office took place on Jan. 11 under the presidency of H.E. Eang Sophalleth, Cambodian Minister of Environment. According to Ms. Shomi Kim, Country Representative of GGGI, the new office indicates a strong collaboration between the Ministry of Environment and GGGI, well in line with the ministry's Circular Strategy. H.E. Eang Sophalleth welcomed the setup of the new office, which will further propel the collaboration between the two partners to achieve clean, green, and sustainable development in Cambodia. H.E. Minister was also positive that the cooperation with GGGI will eventually contribute to improving Cambodian people's living standard, allowing them to get out of poverty.
