South Korea's latest parliamentary election results will have no significant impact on its foreign policy line, including trilateral cooperation with the United States and Japan, a foreign ministry official said Thursday. The crushing defeat of the ruling party in Wednesday's parliamentary elections is also "unlikely to have significant impact" on South Korea's relations with Japan and Seoul's diplomatic position on other issues, according to the official.
