Cambodia is expected light to moderate rain in some parts of the country on Feb. 8-9, due to low pressure and effect of breeze from the Gulf of Thailand, according to the new weather forecast of the Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology released this morning.
The affected provinces would be Takeo, Kandal, Kampong Speu, Prey Veng, Pursat, Battambang, Pailin, Thbong Khmum, Kampong Cham, Koh Kong, Preah Sihanouk, Kampot, and Kep.
From Feb. 3 to 9, for the central lowland areas, the temperature would vary between 19 to 34 degrees Celsius, while in the mountainous areas in the north and northeast, the temperature would be between 16 and 34 degrees Celsius.
In the same period, for the coastal areas, the temperature would range from 20 to 31 degrees Celsius.
