For the last five years, the variation of Cambodia’s Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) volumes goes between US$1.7 and US$2 billion.
The highlight was made by Minister of Commerce H.E. Pan Sorasak during the opening ceremony of the annual meeting of Cambodia Chamber of Commerce (CCC) held in Phnom Penh early this week.
H.E. Pan Sorasak also underlined that Cambodia is shifting its economy from depending on agriculture to industrial and service sectors.
The country’s investment and tourism potentials have continued to attract more foreign investors and visitors to Cambodia, he added.
With its robust economic growth, Cambodia has moved from a low-income country to a lower middle-income economy and is aiming to become an upper middle-income nation in 2030 and a high-income country in 2050.
