The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) will continue its support for more development projects in Battambang, a Southwestern province of Cambodia.

The remark was made by Ms. Nancy J. Eslick, USAID Mission Director in Cambodia in a meeting in the provincial city on Jan. 7 with H.E. Sok Lou, Governor of Battambang province.

On the occasion, Ms. Nancy J. Eslick congratulated Battambang on receiving the 3rd ASEAN Clean Tourist City Standard Award (2022-2024) and reaffirmed USAID’s continued support for projects in the field of agriculture through training and export market, as well as in the environment, education, health, anti-human trafficking sectors.

For his part, H.E. Sok Lou expressed thanks to USAID for its contribution to the development of Battambang province.
