The Government of Japan has granted another US$262,750 to three health promotion projects in Cambodia.
The financing agreement was signed here in Phnom Penh yesterday afternoon by H.E. Horinouchi Hidehisa, Japanese Ambassador to Cambodia and representatives of the organisations in charge of the project implementations.
The assistance is part of Japan's Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects (KUSANONE Grant) that plays a key role in promoting public services in Cambodia by far.
Of the total amount granted, US$89,112 goes to Angkor Hospital of Siem Reap province for the installation of equipment and facilities to provide medication and treatment to serious health cases.
Some US$89,278 was given to Oddar Meanchey Provincial Health Department to construct a building in Trapaing Prasat health centre.
The rest, US$89,125, was provided to Mondulkiri Provincial Health Department to construct a building for child delivery and public health service provision in Meman health centre.
