U.S. Ambassador to Cambodia H.E. W. Patrick Murphy has handed over two separate letters of U.S. President H.E. Donald Trump to Cambodian Prime Minister, highlighting the U.S. commitment to restore the cooperation between the two nations.
H.E. Kao Kim Hourn, Minister Attached to the Prime Minister said the two letters were handed over during the meeting between Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen and H.E. W. Patrick Murphy, here at the Peace Palace this afternoon.
The first letter is on the promotion of bilateral cooperation between the two countries, while the second is an invitation to attend the ASEAN-U.S. Summit in the U.S. in 2020.
According to H.E. Kao Kim Hourn, Samdech Techo Hun Sen expressed his appreciation to the two letters saying that this is the first time that the U.S President wrote himself a letter to him.
The content of the two letters, pointed out H.E.
