One Village One Product (OVOP) delegation from Thailand is interested in Cambodian crafts in processing banana sugar and jumbo cashew nuts, according to local media report.
Deputy Secretary General of Cambodia's OVOP Movement Mr. Suong Noy was cited in the report sharing that the Thai delegation visited agricultural product processing locations in Kampong Cham and expressed their interest, especially of the said products.
Thailand, he continued, does not have craft to process banana into sugar; also the size of processed cashew nuts at the visited locations are fragrant and bigger than those done in Thailand.
With the mentioned qualities, the Thai delegation admired Cambodia for the skills and uniqueness.
Based on the figure shared by source from Kampong Cham Provincial Department of Industry and Handicraft, the province has five agricultural product processers � four processing cashew nuts and one working on bananas.
