AKP Phnom Penh, The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Cambodia has announced to revoke the restriction of the entry into and exit from Cambodia, of Vietnamese nationals who are company staff and experts of Vietnamese companies.

The revocation, notified in a diplomatic note sent to the Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam in Phnom Penh, came into effect on Aug. 20, 2021.

But, the ministry continued, the measures of temporary entry restrictions into Cambodia as stipulated in the Ministry’s Note No.734 dated Mar. 27. 2020 and other existing measures of the Kingdom of Cambodia shall remain in force.

The Royal Government decided to temporarily suspend and restrict the entry into and exit from Cambodia, of Vietnamese nationals who are company staff and experts of Vietnamese companies for one month, from July 18, 2021 onwards, due to the fast-spreading delta variant of the coronavirus.
