AKP Phnom Penh, The government generated over US$1.827 million tax revenue for the first eleven months of 2017 � up nearly 30 percent compared to the same period last year.
The update was shared here on Monday by the General Department of Taxation, Ministry of Economy and Finance in a monthly meeting.
According to H.E. Kong Vibol, Director General of the General Department of Taxation, all tax revenues have increased, including income tax by 31.1 percent, value added tax by 29.8 percent, special tax by 15 percent, and salary tax by 8.6 percent.
The director general credited improved tax revenue performance to on-going reforms by the Royal Government of Cambodia.
