Some 20,000 Job Opportunities Offered at Two-day Career Fair

Some 100 leading companies and enterprises as well as ministries, institutions, development partners and national and international organisations have been participating in the Career Fair, offering 20,000 job opportunities.

The information was shared by H.E. Ith Samheng, Minister of Labour and Vocational Training, while presiding over the opening ceremony of the two-day National Career and Productivity Fair held virtually this morning at www.careerfair.nea.gov.kh.

The online fair has sought more effective ways to meet the needs of employers and job seekers to create a vibrant and responsive environment in order to expand the scope of work and absorb potential and skillful labour force for job vacancies in all fields, said H.E. Minister.

The event will create a platform for remote communication, ensuring safety distancing, avoiding risks and providing unlimited transactions for the public, he added, underlining that it will be a purposeful and cost-effective platform easier to be found, accessed with quick response.

The career fair is an initiative of the Royal Government of Cambodia to introduce job opportunities to potential candidates, especially the youths seeking jobs or considering job change.
