Siem Reap To Construct New Airport Shortly

Siem Reap province of Cambodia expects to start the construction of the US$900 million worth Angkor International Airport shortly.

The update was underlined in a recent meeting between Siem Reap Provincial Governor H.E. Khim Bunsong and Mr. Zou Yuhui, Deputy Managing Director of Angkor International Airport Investment (Cambodia) Co., Ltd in Siem Reap province.

Working on the land surface of about 1,700 hectares in Tayek commune of Sotr Nikum district, the construction project will take from 3 to 5 years to complete, Mr. Zou Yuhui said.

Angkor International Airport Investment (Cambodia) Co., Ltd. in charge of the project is from Kunming city, Yunnan province of the People's Republic of China.
