Cambodia and China have agreed to form a sister alliance between Siem Reap province and Macao Special Administrative Region.
Official agreement for the said purpose was inked between H.E. Khim Bunsong, Governor of Siem Reap province and Mr. Chui Sai On, Chief Executive of the Macao Special Administrative Region at Siem Reap province early this week.
H.E. Kim Bunsong was positive that the sister alliance formation between the two countries' province and city will help increase the flow of tourists, especially the Chinese trade partners to Cambodia.
He also encouraged exchange of trade to further boost economic, agricultural, educational, infrastructure and tourism areas by making possible direct flight between Cambodia's Siem Reap province and Macao Special Administrative Region of the People Republic of China.
To date, Siem Reap province has established sister alliances with 23 cities and provinces of China.
