The Ministry of Commerce said a Shaanxi province of China will buy 300,000 tons of Cambodia's rubber latex and the import is expected to begin in 2018.
This information was made known while Cambodian Minister of Commerce H.E. Pan Sorasak received here on Wednesday a group of investors from China and Japan.
Last year, Cambodia's rubber export was 145,100 matrix tons, worth US$187 million � a 13 percent increase compared to the volume in 2015.
The total land used for rubber cultivation was expanded to 432,735 hectares across the country, about 11 percent upturn. The biggest market for the Cambodian rubber is Vietnam, Malaysia, and China.
