Senate President Receives Newly Appointed Ambassador of South Korea to Cambodia

Newly appointed ambassador of the Republic of Korea has paid courtesy call on Cambodia's Senate President SamdechVibolSenaPheakdei Say Chhum.

In the meeting taking place yesterday at the Senate Palace here in Phnom Penh, H.E. Ambassador Oh Nak-young spoke highly of Cambodia's rapid development under the leadership of Prime Minister SamdechAkkaMohaSenaPadeiTecho Hun Sen.

The new diplomat of South Korea to Cambodia highlighted his country's effort in strengthening and promoting relationship with ASEAN countries, including Cambodia which is a good partner.

Cambodia and South Korea will continue to work hard to maintain strong solidarity and intimate collaboration in all sectors, especially in economy, trade, education, culture, tourism and investment, he continued.

Samdech Say Chhum congratulated H.E. Oh Nak-young for his new assignment as South Korean ambassador to Cambodia, and appreciated his commitment to boost bilateral cooperation with Cambodia.

He also thanked the Government of South Korea for its assistance so far including the official development assistance, grant aid, and beyond that contribute significantly to Cambodia's economic growth.
