Grounding on the decision by its standing committee, the senate continued its first session today focusing on worker's minimum wage and labour law.
As shared by the standing committee, the legislative body will first and foremost review and endorse the draft law on worker's minimum wage.
Other outstanding agenda items are the examination and endorsement of the amendments of labour and Cambodia standard laws.
This is the first session of the fourth-legislature, since its election on Jan. 14.
Cambodian People's Party (CPP) won the entire 58 seats of the senate election recognised widely by national and international communities.
There are 62 seats of the current senate's structure of them, two are nominated by His Majesty the King, another two by the National Assembly, and the rest are those who won the voting.
