South Korea has pledged to boost cooperation on a project to foster infrastructure development in Cambodia.
The commitment was made by H.E. Park Heung-Kyeong, South Korean Ambassador to Cambodia in a recent meeting with H.E. Sun Chanthol, Senior Minister and Minister of Public Works and Transport here in Phnom Penh.
The S. Korean diplomat acknowledged that the construction of National Roads No. 2 and 22 is being late, but he promised to bring the projects up to speed.
From his end, H.E. Sun Chanthol briefed H.E. Park Heung-Kyeong on the ministry’s efforts in carrying out that construction projects supported by the Republic of Korea.
He also spoke highly of flourishing bilateral collaboration between Cambodia and S. Korea in all sectors, especially in technical and financial support to infrastructure development in the Kingdom by far.
