RGC To Further Pay Attention to Veterans

Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen reaffirmed here this morning the Royal Government's further attention to the veterans.

Addressing to the celebration of 11th Cambodian Veteran Day (June 21) at Koh Pich Convention and Exhibition Centre, Samdech Techo Hun Sen spoke highly of the veterans' roles and sacrifice for the peace and development of the nation.

According to H.E. Gen Kun Kim, Secretary General of Cambodian Veteran Association (CVA), until May 2018, CVA has in total 73,906 members.

Under CVA, all veterans and their families have been receiving high attention, especially on their social welfare and living condition, Gen. Kun Kim added.

Annually, Samdech Techo Hun Sen, also President of CVA, visits directly or commissions a representative to visit veterans and their families in three centres � Koh Sla, Kulen, and Phnom Chhat � and between 2017-2018, the Premier built 699 houses for poor veterans.
