By July 25, the renovation work of Stung Prek Thnot Dam was achieved more than 90 percent after flood water has gradually retreated, said yesterday a news release of Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology (MOWRAM).
The reconstruction project, led by Minister of MOWRAM H.E. Lim Kean Hor, was divided into five sections using some 50 machines, it added.
The renovation is expected to be fully completed by this noon, underlined the news release.
Located in Phnom Penh capital and Kandal province, Stung Prek Thnot dam was partly damaged by recent flash floods.
