( http://pyrogenesis.com) (TSXV: PYR), a TSX Venture 50® clean-tech company (the “Company” or “PyroGenesis”) that designs, develops, manufactures and commercializes plasma waste-to-energy systems and plasma torch products, announced today it has made the following appointments:
Mr. Paul A. Simmons, AFCA, AAT, as Chief Financial Officer of the Company, effective June 1st, 2015.
Mr. Simmons brings over 30 years of international financial, business and administration experience to the Company. He was most recently CFO for a Montreal-based research and development company listed in Canada and in the US, where he was instrumental in securing funding, including government-backed financing, and strategic IR activities. Prior to relocating to Canada in 2008, Mr. Simmons held CFO and VP-Finance & Administration positions in Europe with several international manufacturing organizations where he successfully implemented restructuring and turnaround initiatives, drove profitable corporate expansions through organic growth and mergers and acquisitions, and integrated new international acquisitions. His financial leadership has enabled corporations to consistently exceed corporate targets in delivering fiscal gains and enhance shareholder value.

To the Board:
Mr. Angelos Vlasopoulos, CPA, CA, as member of the Board of Directors of the Company, effective immediately.
Mr. Vlasopoulos is a Certified Public Accountant and brings to the board over eighteen years of corporate accounting, finance and operations experience in both private and public companies. Prior to joining the PyroGenesis Board, Angelos was a Vice President at Brookfield Asset Management and held the position of Chief Financial Officer of MediSolution Ltd., a public company. Angelos held various positions in a major software and services organization, including Senior Finance Manager of one of the company’s divisions. He has also worked in the Audit & Advisory Services practice at Deloitte & Touche LLP, and is currently the President and Chief Executive Officer at Aeson Leeds Inc., a Strategic Financial Management firm.

Separately, Ms Aline Belanger resigned from the board without notice, last Thursday May 21, 2015. She will not complete her mandate. The Company wishes her well.
