Phnom Penh Water Supply Authority (PPWSA) will produce and supply some 209,137,020 cubic metres of clean water, equal to 572,962 cubic metres per day, up around 7 percent compared to the 2017's figure, said a local media report.
The supply is to ensure the availability of clean water for 24 hours a day, seven days a week, except when the electricity goes off, for people in Phnom Penh and downtown of Kandal province with appropriate price.
The figures were released during the sixth General Meeting of Shareholders of PPSWA held here on May 9.
According to its report, the PPWSA's clean water production plan in 2018 is 97.11 percent of the total water production capacity of the four PPWSA's water treatment plants.
