Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen shared here this morning a message on his official Facebook page to congratulate all political parties registered officially at the National Election Committee (NEC) in order to join the upcoming 6th National Election.
The 6th legislature National Election is approaching. I'd like to welcome all political parties that have already registered themselves and their respective candidates for the election on July 29, 2018. This shows clearly that Cambodia is respecting and adhering to the (principles of) democracy. All big and small parties have full right and opportunity to compete freely in the election, he underlined.
In the same message, Samdech Techo Hun Sen expressed his delight to celebrate the International Labour Day (May 01) with workers at Phnom Penh Special Economic Zone yesterday and encouraged all his ruling Cambodian People's Party (CPP)'s supporters to continue voting for CPP for more progress to the nation.
According to NEC, three political parties � CPP, Cambodian Youth Party (CYP), and Cambodian Nationality Party (CNP) � have already registered at NEC during the first two-day of the two-week-long registration period, while 16 others received registration application forms.
