Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen has expressed his appreciation and deep thanks to all volunteer medical practitioners who have actively participated in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic in Cambodia.
“Thanks all volunteer medical teams for their sacrifice, both physical and mental, to save the people’s lives, despite knowing that this disease is a hidden killer,” wrote the Premier in a Facebook message this afternoon.
Samdech Techo Hun Sen also re-appealed to his compatriots to strictly carry out the health safety rules as well as the “3 Dos, 3 Don’ts” measure.
Cambodia’s tally of COVID-19 increased to 1,430 as of this morning, of which 915 are connected to the Feb. 20 Community Event, the current cluster infections in the country. A total of 818 patients have so far recovered successfully, with a death case recorded.
