PM Says State Revenue Records Beyond Expectation

Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen has shared that the national revenue had been recorded beyond the expectation.

According to his message posted on his official Facebook page yesterday, the customs revenue has now exceeded some US$758 million, while the tax revenue surpassed US$345 million, of the yearly target of US$2,260 million and US$2,288 million, respectively.

Samdech Techo Hun Sen shared that the National Budget Law has set the target of only US$4,548 million as income from customs and tax, but now US$5,652 million has been collected, therefore it exceeded about US$1,104 million.

Besides, he added, there are some other incomes from different sources that have not been added up yet.

"At this moment, the Royal Government has about US$3,500 million in hand, without counting international reserves of about US$15,000 million and some 30 tonnes of gold," the Premier underlined.

Samdech Techo Hun Sen attributed the above-said achievements to the participation of all partner countries, private investment partners, and all compatriots in maintaining peace and in fulfilling their tax obligations.
