Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, has decided to pay a visit to workers and employees throughout the country on Sundays.
The premier made the decision while chairing a weekly cabinet meeting at the Peace Palace, Phnom Penh yesterday, said a press release of the Press and Quick Reaction Unit of the Office of the Council of Ministers made public after the meeting.
The weekly visit, which will begin from Aug. 20 onwards, is aimed to learn about the workers' and employees' living conditions as well as their needs, it underlined.
Meanwhile, added the same source, Samdech Techo Hun Sen instructed the Ministries of the Interior, Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and Economy and Finance to examine with transparency and equity the implementation of the Law on Payroll Tax for the staff of NGOs operating in Cambodia.
