PM Hun Sen to Get the First Dose of COVID-19 Vaccine Next Wednesday

The first dose of China-made vaccine against the COVID-19 pandemic will be administered to Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, on Feb. 10 at Calmette Hospital in Phnom Penh.
The schedule was released by the Premier in a voice message shared to the media this morning.
Besides Samdech Techo Hun Sen, other senior officials such as Deputy Prime Minister H.E. Hor Namhong; Samdech Pichey Sena Tea Banh, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence; Minister of Health H.E. Mam Bunheng … will receive the vaccine on the same day.
After that, the Prime Minister will hold a press conference at the hospital.
According to Samdech Techo Hun Sen, the COVID-19 vaccine donated by China will arrive in Cambodia on Feb. 7.
Samdech Techo Prime Minister will lead a high-level delegation, composed of H.E. Hor Namhong, Samdech Tea Banh, H.E. Mam Bunheng, to receive the vaccine at the airport.
The first batch of 600,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccines will be arriving in Cambodia this weekend.
A team of Chinese vaccine specialists yesterday provided a training to some 300 Cambodian medical staff on how to use the anti-COVID-19 vaccine ahead of its arrival.
