Phnom Penh has hosted the first-ever Cambodia and China international trade fair aiming to expand investment potential among companies and entrepreneurs of the two countries.
Taking place last weekend at Koh Pich Convention and Exhibition Centre here in Phnom Penh, the event was participated by 100 companies of Cambodia and Hunan and Shandong provinces of China.
According to Commerce Secretary of State H.E. Chhuon Dara, the exposition plays a crucial role in strengthening the cooperation between Cambodian and Chinese businessmen, and in promoting the development of eco-commercial sector toward mutual benefit.
On behalf of the organiser, Mrs. Wang Liphing, Director General of Wangni Group International Exhibition Co., Ltd., is positive that the fair will become an annual exercise, contributing to enhancement of product quality supplied in international markets.
Products displayed at about 100 booths at the fair included those serving especially in the areas of tourism, industry, agriculture, electricity, construction, real estate, food, garment and footwear, cosmetics, and vehicles.
