Phnom Penh capital hall authority has notified the public on the rollout of City Bus Management System and City Bus App to track live location of the buses.
The two new systems were launched here yesterday under the presidency of Phnom Penh Municipal Governor H.E. Khuong Sreng.
According to the governor, the systems will further improve the service and ease access to the transport among the users.
He thanked the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) for its continuous support for the service in Cambodia.
Phnom Penh has introduced the city bus service in 2014, and is operating 13 lines of the transport by far, serving between 26,000 and 30,000 passengers each day.
The city bus service has been increasingly popular among users and contributed essentially to addressing traffic congestion in the capital.
