Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) has licensed five more investment projects worth over US$600 million.
The update was shared on the council's s Facebook page recently, adding that the projects are expected to generate some 9,594 jobs for the locals.
The projects included the investments in the production of paper, textile and electrical equipment and tourism service.
The approved five investments include Kai Gao Paper Industry Co., Ltd. located in Battambang province, Top Rise Master Industry Co., Ltd. and Full Ever Textiles (Cambodia) Company Limited in Kampong Speu province, Union City Development Group Co., Ltd. in Koh Kong province and Nanjing Dadi Construction (Cambodia) Development Group Co., Ltd. in Preah Sihanouk province.
