Over 900 locations in Phnom Penh has set to get prepared for the upcoming campaign of Ambok (Cambodia's traditional rice flakes) eating, according to local media report.
The update was shared by Mr. Mean Chanyada, Deputy Governor of Phnom Penh in a meeting to prepare for that event here in the capital recently.
To take place from Nov. 9 to 12 at Wat Phnom Historical Site, the campaign of Ambok eating is made to coincide with the 66th anniversary of National Independence Day (Nov. 9), and the Water Festival (Nov. 10-12), continued the vice governor.
He added that it also aims to promote the nation, religion and the King.
The forthcoming campaign of Ambok eating is expected to attract participation of at least 100,000 people in Phnom Penh.
