More than 360,000 Cambodian soldiers received training � wherein almost 2,000 of them attending overseas courses � throughout 2017.
The update was shared by Deputy Commander-in-Chief Gen. Eth Sarath during the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces (RCAF)'s annual work review held here in Phnom Penh yesterday.
The training, he underlined, covers areas such as induction and psychology essential for both new and existing officers.
The deputy commander-in-chief added that of the trained soldiers, 1,783 were sent to nine countries for training.
RCAF Commander-in-Chief Gen. Pol Saroeun who chaired the event expressed his appreciation for the commitment and achievement that will contribute significantly to enriching knowledge, skills and experiences in the sector.
