More than 1,100 Cambodian youths have studied in Japan sponsored by Japanese Government scholarship since 1992, according to the Embassy of Japan in Phnom Penh.
The former scholarship students have been contributing to the development of Cambodia as well as to the strengthening of friendship and mutual understanding between the people of Japan and Cambodia, it stressed.
Tomorrow, the Embassy of Japan in cooperation with the Japan Alumni of Cambodia (JAC), will conduct an explanatory session on the MEXT Scholarship for 2019 at the Cambodia-Japan Cooperation Centre (CJCC), Phnom Penh.
This forthcoming session will give detailed information about this largest scholarship for studying in Japan provided by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan (MEXT).
