The National Committee for Organising the 13th ASEM Summit (ASEM13) held a Briefing Session on the preparations for ASEM13 to all embassies and relevant institutions of the ASEM Partners via videoconference this afternoon.

The session was held under the presidency of H.E. Luy David, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and President of the ASEM13 Secretariat.

During the session, some crucial information ranging from general information on the agenda, and programme to technical and media arrangements as well as side events were substantively presented.

The ASEM13 will be held on Nov. 25-26, 2021 via Zoom videoconference platform. This two-day summit will be convened in the afternoon, starting at 14:00 (GMT+7) and be featured with the following programme: a photo session, an opening session, a session with stakeholders, 2 plenary sessions, a retreat session, the adoption of the outcome documents, a closing session, and lastly a joint press conference.

Six side events namely (1) Asia-Europe Forum on Women, Peace, and Security (2) 11th Asia-Europe Parliamentary Partnership Meeting (3) ASEM Cultural Festival (4) 4th ASEF Young Leaders’ Summit (5) 1st Asia-Europe Business and Economic Forum and (6) 10th ASEF Editor’s Roundtable will be held in conjunction with the summit.
