No More Red Zones in Phnom Penh

There is no Red Zone left in Phnom Penh capital while the Dark Yellow zones have been narrowed down to only a few villages in five Khan, according to a new decision of the Phnom Penh Municipal Hall released this evening.
Some parts of Deum Chan village of Sangkat Chbar Ampov 2 in Khan Chbar Ampov; village 23 of Sangkat Boeung Kak 2 in Khan Tuol Kok; and Trapaing Tleung 1, 2, 4 villages and Tuol Pongro village of Sangkat Chom Chao 1 in Khan Pursenchey have been set as Dark Yellow zones, it pointed out.
Moreover, it added, some parts of Chong Ksach and Bak Touk villages of Sangkat Tuol Sangke 1 in Khan Russey Keo; and some parts of village 5 of Sangkat Stung Meanchey 2 and some parts of Damnak Thom 2, Damnak Thom 3 and Trea 4 villages of Sangkat Stung Meanchey 3 in Khan Meanhey are also among the Dark Yellow zones.
The other areas in the capital are all Yellow zones, the same source underlined.
This new administrative measure will be effective for one week from May 20 to 26 for the Dark Yellow zones, but two weeks from May 20 to June 2 for Dark zones.
Red zones are areas with serious community spread of COVID-19, while Dark Yellow and Yellow zones with moderate and mild COVID-19 community spread, respectively.
