New weather radar is planned to build in Kampong Thom central province, and the construction is scheduled for next year.
Speaking at a press conference organised here this morning by the Royal Government Spokesperson Unit of the Council of Ministers, H.E. Chan Youttha, Spokesperson at the Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology, said that the second weather radar will be built under the cooperation with the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
Cost of the construction is estimated at US$7 million, pointed out the spokesperson.
The first weather radar, named Techo Sen Weather Radar, was built in Phnom Penh.
