New Cases of COVID-19 Remain Low, at 29 This Morning

Cambodia’s daily cases of COVID-19 remains low, at only 29 this morning, according to a press release of the Ministry of Health.
These are PCR test results, underlined the ministry, adding that 6 of which were imported and the rest were linked to the Feb. 20 community outbreak.
The national counts now jumped to 120,038, including 19,806 imported cases, the same source pointed out.
Meanwhile, the ministry announced the recovery of 30 more patients, but the death of 4 others (3 of them have not been vaccinated); bringing the total cured and death cases in the Kingdom to 116,417 and 2,922, respectively.
The first COVID-19 case was reported in Cambodia in late January 2020 in Preah Sihanouk province. The confirmed cases have surged quickly this year due to the Feb. 20 incident.
