The National Election Committee (NEC) is going to print 10,525,650 ballot papers for the National Election on July 29, 2018, pointed out recently the committee's Spokesperson H.E. Dim Sovannarom.
Of the ballot papers, 3,296,200 will be printed as samples, added the spokesperson, stressing that the sample ballots will be used for practical training among NEC's officials at all planned polling stations across Cambodia.
The printing process will begin after the organisation of the lucky draw to determine the order of each of the 20 participating political parties on the ballot paper, and observers from different NGOs and political parties as well as journalists will be allowed to witness and cover the process, he said.
Over eight million eligible Cambodian citizens have been registered for the upcoming political race.
