The 9th National Career and Productivity Fair was organised successfully here at Koh Pich Convention and Exhibition Centre on Nov. 2-3, 2019 with 300 booths by 150 exhibitors.
The two-day event attracted some 30,000 visitors, mostly students, youths, job seekers, and workers.
Minister of Labour and Vocational Training H.E. Ith Samheng, who presided over the opening ceremony of the fair, said this is a great opportunity for all stakeholders of the labour market to exchange information, draw necessary experience, and build HRs communication network.
According to the organisers, more than 20,000 job opportunities were offered by companies, educational institutions, government ministries and institutions, national and international organisations at the job fair.
A conference on Productivity Strategy for Cambodia: Paving the Way for Global Competition was also held as part of the 9th National Career and Productivity Fair which focused on the significance of productivity enhancement to maintain competitiveness and long-term growth, job improvement, and income augmentation.
