National Bank of Tajikistan issues commemorative coins
Bishkek (AKIpress) – The National Bank of Tajikistan issued commemorative silver coins that can be used for numismatic purposes on the occasion of a number of anniversaries.
Coins were issued in honor of the 600th anniversary of the Tajik-Persian poet, writer and thinker Abd ar-Rahmgn Jgmg, the 700th anniversary of the Tajik-Persian poet and philosopher Mir Sayyid Ali Hamadani, and the 20th anniversary of the Tajik Constitution, reports the press service of the National Bank.
Another coins depicting the State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater, the National Library and the National Museum of Tajikistan were issued on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the Tajik capital, Dushanbe.
“Commemorative coins were made with the use of new technologies and best practices to meet the highest standards of coins of the Mayer’s Mint (Pforzheim, Germany),” noticed the statement.
