MOWRAM Calls for Vigilance Against Flash Floods and High Waves

The Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology (MOWRAM) has appealed to people to be high vigilant against flash floods and high waves as rain would continue to fall across the country.
The appeal was made in the ministry’s new announcement on weather forecast for this week, made public this morning.
Areas next to waterways and mountain ranges would be the most affected, it underlined.
Between Sept. 16 and 22, the temperature would vary between 24 and 33 degrees Celsius for the central lowland areas, from 24 to 30 degrees Celsius for the mountainous areas in the north and northeast, and between 25 and 30 degrees Celsius in the coastal areas, the same source pointed out.
