MOWRAM Calls for Continued Vigilance against Flash Floods

The Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology (MOWRAM) has appealed to local authorities and the public to keep their vigilance of possible flash floods due to heavy rainfall, accompanied by thunder, lightning and gusts.

The ministry made the appeal in its announcement on weather forecast for the next seven days, from Sept. 14 to 20.

According to the announcement made public this morning, during the said period, the temperature would vary between 22 to 32 degrees Celsius in both highland and coastal areas.

For the central lowland areas, the same source pointed out, the temperature would range between 23 and 33 degrees Celsius.
