MoU on Cambodia-Sri Lanka Tourism Cooperation Signed

Cambodia and Sri Lanka have entered an agreement to promote the cooperation on tourism between the two countries.

The agreement was signed between H.E. Thong Khon, Minister of Tourism and H.E. Mrs. Colonne Appuhamillage Chaminda Inoka Colonne, newly appointed Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Cambodia here in Phnom Penh on May 10.

H.E. Thong Khon asked the Sri Lanka side to consider direct flight with Cambodia, particularly the charter flight.

The minister also underlined the ministry's effort to promote Cambodia's tourism sector, including the easing of entry requirements to attract more tourists to the country.

Both sides also agreed to organise Buddhism tourism event and further promote the tourism sector of the two countries to the world.
