More Japanese Tourists to Visit Siem Reap when it Reopens

Newly appointed Director of the Consular Office of Japan in Siem Reap is positive that more Japanese tourists will visit the historical and cultural province of Cambodia when it reopens.

The director, Mr. Kawaguchi Maski, shared the optimism when received by Siem Reap Provincial Governor H.E. Tea Seiha yesterday at the province.

H.E. Tea Seiha warmly welcomed Mr. Kawaguchi Maski for his mission in the province and profoundly thanked him for his optimism and committed collaboration.

The governor also expressed his appreciation of the Consular Office of Japan in Siem Reap under the leadership of the outgoing director Mr. Mitori Naoki for the good cooperation with and support for his provincial authorities.

As targeted by the Royal Government of Cambodia, Siem Reap province will resume welcoming foreign visitors from January 2022 onward.
